Chet Novak discovered his passion for carpentry while employed by a cabinet fabrication shop on Long Island, NY in 1988. Throughout his life he has tried brief bouts in many different career fields including electronic work, handyman services and even real estate, but nothing brought him as much fulfillment as fine woodworking. That’s why in 2010 he went to Memphis, Tennessee to receive specialized training in furniture repair from Furniture Medic Corporate.
For 13 years his Furniture Medic Franchise thrived at being one of the best furniture repair services in the Lynchburg area. Having more 5-star Google reviews than all of his competitors, his business stood out above the rest. After 13 years with Furniture Medic, he pursued new ways to expand his knowledge and utilize his talents. He took a position at The Virginian Hotel and in just over a year took over as Chief Engineering. This position was to be short lived as he was drawn back to his own business and launched Quality Furniture Repair, LLC.
Now with over 29 years of experience in woodworking, you won’t find a better expert for your furniture and cabinet needs. Outside of work, Chet’s family and his faith are extremely important to him and he enjoys fishing and hiking in the beautiful scenery of Virginia.
